The dogs were rescued as part of an international effort to redirect Korean farmers to pursue other economic activities.
Gloucester Township, NJ -- Three dogs that were recently rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea are now up for adoption in Gloucester Township.
The dogs, which are now at the Camden County Animal Shelter, were rescued as part of an international effort to redirect Korean farmers to pursue other economic activities and permanently end the farming of dogs for meat, officials said on Wednesday.
“These dogs have overcome insurmountable odds, and have traveled a great distance to find someone to provide them with the love and care they deserve,” Camden County Freeholder Jeff Nash, liaison to the Camden County Animal Shelter, said. “These dogs, along with other animals, are waiting for you to provide them with their forever home.”
