Dress Like a Superhero at the Gloucester Township Library This Summer

It's part of the Camden County Library System's Every Hero Has a Story Summer Reading Program.

The Gloucester Township branch of the Camden County Library System is calling on residents to dress as their favorite superhero as part of the countywide Summer Reading Program.

Gloucester Township’s event takes place July 30, 6:30 p.m.

The county is joining in the statewide theme of “Every Hero Has a Story” for children and “Unmask” for teens and tweens.

“The summer reading programs offered at our libraries help to keep your children engaged in reading and learning over the summer break. I encourage every parent to take advantage of these programs and all that our libraries have to offer residents,” Camden County Freeholder Carmen Rodriguez, liaison to the Camden County Library System, said.

Participants can register online or at the Gloucester Township branch in person. They can also pick up a reading log to track all they read during the summer or everything read to the youngest children.

They can then report what they’ve read and the amount of time they’ve spent reading back to the library to for a chance to earn incentives and win larger prizes.
