Marlton Man Dies In Gloucester County Crash

The 52-year-old was trying to turn into a parking lot, and was ejected when another car struck his, according to police in Monroe Township.

MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ — A man is dead after a crash on South Black Horse Pike on Wednesday evening, according to Monroe Township police.

Police say the driver of a 2012 Honda Accord was driving westbound on U.S. 322 near the intersection of Ocean Lane around 5:40 p.m. on December 14.

The driver tried to make a left turn into a parking lot, police said. He crossed the road in front of a 2011 Chevrolet Corvette, which police said hit the Accord's rear passenger side.

Police said the driver of the Accord, a 52-year-old Marlton man, was ejected from the vehicle. Doctors pronounced him dead at Jefferson Hospital - Washington Township shortly before 7 p.m., according to Monroe Township police.

Police have not yet identified the driver who died and are continuing to investigate.

The driver of the Corvette, a 22-year-old man from Williamstown, had minor injuries according to police.

Washington Township EMS, Winslow Township EMS, Cecil Fire Department, Williamstown Fire Department, Inspira Medics and the New Jersey Department Of Transportation were also involved in the investigation, according to police.
