More than just a movie event, this Friday night event will start with a performance by Philadelphia based hip-hop group the Azi Fellas. Afterward, enjoy several short films presented by the Southeast Asian Mutual Assistance Association Coalition (SEAMAAC) and Hawthorne Cultural Center. Dandiggity: Corner Shop Poet is a 10-minute short about a Vietnamese-American spoken-word artist dealing with working his day job and trying to fulfill his dreams. Lovely to Me (Immigrant Mother), I Ain't Leavin' and The Fading Light (Theo Hướng Đèn Mà Đi) are additional shorts that will be shown.
