FEMA To Assess Flood Damage From June Storm In Camden County

Camden County residents are urged to report damage by dialing 211 ahead of FEMA's visit this week.

Camden County officials want to hear from any residents who experienced property damage during the heavy rains and subsequent flooding that took place on June 19 and 20.

Residents can register their information by calling 211. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will tour the area from July 16-18 to determine if Individual Assistance to property owners will be made available to residents for damages from this storm.

Questions regarding this request can be directed to operators when calling 211. Reporting damage does not guarantee that a resident will be covered for that damage, officials said. It is only being done to ensure that all damage suffered in the area has been reported.
