Fire Heavily Damages Home, Leaves Gloucester Township Residents Displaced: Police
The fire took place on Oakland Avenue early Sunday morning.

Gloucester Township, NJ -- An early morning fire left a home on Oakwood Avenue heavily damaged and its residents displaced, Gloucester Township Police said Sunday afternoon.
Four people were home at the time of the fire, but none were injured. Police don’t believe there was anything suspicious about the fire.
Police responded to the home in the Blackwood section of the township at about 3:04 a.m. and found the front of the home fully engulfed, with flames emanating from the front and side windows.

People in the home and the surrounding homes were safely evacuated.
Blackwood Fire Department Station 84, Chews Landing Fire Department Station 82, Blenheim Fire Department Station 83, Erial Fire Department Station 86, Deptford Fire Department and Gloucester Township EMS responded and were quickly able to extinguish the fire.

The fire is under investigation by the Blackwood Fire Marshal.
