GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Wawa will soon hold a celebration, marking "Wawa Day" by offering free hot coffee of any size all Thursday.

The free coffee is limited to one per customer. All Wawa locations, including those in Gloucester Township, will offer the deal Thursday.

A Super Wawa in the township recently broke ground on Blackwood-Clementon Road. But in the meantime, Gloucester Township has several Wawa stores that will offer free coffee.

Wawa Day celebrates the retailer's opening in April 1964. Beginning with one location in Folson, Pennsylvania, the chain now has roughly 950 stores and continues to expand.

Every Wawa store will give away a free hot coffee of any size Thursday to customers. Each location will also present a "Day Brightener" gift — a week's worth of coffee — to a customer who's "near and dear to the store team."
