Free Transportation Service Introduced In South Jersey
The on-demand rides will provide additional access to NJ Transit resources.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A free transportation option for senior citizens and those with disabilities was introduced on Wednesday.
The "CG Hopper" is available as an on-demand shuttle service for people in both Camden and Gloucester Counties.
The service area also connects riders to NJ Transit centers, in order to broaden access to mobility around the region.

"Anytime we can bring these options to the front doors of our residents, we are bridging a gap that will ultimately enhance the lives of our neighbors and improve the social determinants of health for every individual participating in the program," said Camden County Commissioner Jennifer Cooley Fleisher, liaison to the Camden County Department of Health and Human Services.

There are five Toyota Sienna minivans that make up the fleet for this 18-month pilot program.

"I'm proud to work with our county and community partners to deliver a service that will make a real difference for South Jersey families," Governor Mikie Sherrill added.
Anyone who is 60 or over and people with disabilities can book rides through the CG Hopper app, online, or via the support team.
