- Where/When: Various Philadelphia Art Galleries & Studios, Philadelphia, Friday, 5 to 9 p.m.
- What’s Going On: The first Friday of every month is a time designated for art lovers. Art galleries in Old City remain open late and there are approximately 40 galleries, with varying types of art and styles, to walk through. The artwork is just as eclectic as the crowds that gather, and this event takes place rain or shine. Many galleries are located between Front and Third Streets and Market and Vine Streets.

- Where/When: The Rotunda, 4014 Walnut St., Philadelphia, Friday, 8:30 to 10:30 p.m.
- What’s Going On: This event is a charity benefit meant to raise funds for many of the families that were affected by a massive fire that took place in Philadelphia Jan. 10. The Windermere Court Apartments in West Philadelphia were destroyed due to the fire and many people are now homeless. This fun-filled night of music, poetry and art is a great way to spend your Saturday evening, while contributing to a wonderful cause. Performances will include poets J Mase III and TS Poet, Rosemary Fiki and her band, Monica McIntyre, pianist Maura Johnston and many more.
- Pricing: $8 in advance, $10 at the door

- Where/When: H20 Beach Club (Sahara Sams), 535 N. Route 73, West Berlin, Saturday, 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
- What’s Going On: The H2o Beach Club is hosting its grand opening on Saturday night. This exclusive event requires pre-registration online at upcomingevents.com. Once you’ve registered, if space is available, you are then put on the club’s VIP list. Make sure to arrive on time because there will be an open bar from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m. Expect a fun night of dancing with a DJ playing popular music until 2 a.m. The club does not allow guests to walk around in bathing suits, so dress to impress and to possibly be photographed.

2011 International Philadelphia Flower Show
- Where/When: Pennsylvania Convention Center, 12th and Arch streets, Philadelphia, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., starting Sunday, March 6-13
- What’s Going On: The Philadelphia International Flower Show always makes me feel like spring is in the air. Attendees are welcomed to the show with beautiful flowers blooming and bushes and trees on display. This year’s flower show theme is "Springtime in Paris." Many displays will depict a Parisian-inspired setting. Also available to guests of the flower show is a Garden Tea Party experience. For an additional cost, you can rest in a luxurious and tranquil garden setting. You’ll be treated to a variety of teas, pastries, fruit and petit sandwiches.

The Music of Dancing with the Stars, Presented by the Tri County Symphonic Band
- Where/When: Camden County College, Dennis Flyer Theater in Lincoln Hall, Blackwood, Sunday, 3 p.m.
- What’s Going On: End your weekend with the sounds of dance music through the years. This is the Tri County Symphonic Band’s self-proclaimed tribute to Dancing with the Stars. Expect flute playing, trumpets and saxophones, among many other instruments at this event.
