Man Shot Innocent Bystander During Argument In Gloucester City: Prosecutor
The victim was hospitalized and is in stable condition, authorities said.
GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ — A man shot and wounded an innocent bystander during an argument with another person Monday night in Gloucester City, authorities said.
Francisco Griffin was charged in the incident, which hospitalized a woman, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office (CCPO). The victim is in stable condition as of late Tuesday morning.
Police responded to the shooting at about 10:50 p.m. Monday on the 600 block of Hunter Street. Detectives determined that Griffin fired a handgun during an argument.

The round traveled into a nearby home and struck an innocent bystander, who was brought to Cooper University Hospital, the CCPO said.
Griffin, 51, of Gloucester City, was charged with second-degree aggravated assault, multiple second-degree weapons offenses, and fourth-degree criminal mischief. He was placed in the Camden County Correctional Facility, pending a pretrial detention hearing.
