GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township doesn't have its own fireworks show for the Fourth of July, but there are plenty of places residents can go to see a show and take in a parade.

To the Max will help Collingswood celebrate America's Independence on Wednesday, July 4, at Collingswood High School. The eight-piece band, one of the liveliest in the Philadelphia region, will entertain the crowd with popular music and play patriotic tunes during the fireworks. Admission is free.

The show begins at 8 p.m. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks follow at about 9:15 p.m. at the high school's stadium.

Stadium seating will not be available so bring a blanket. In the event of rain, fireworks are postponed to July 5. A decision regarding postponement, if necessary, will be made the morning of July 4 and posted on Collingswood.com as well as Collingswood's Facebook page here. Fireworks are sponsored by Parke Bank and the law offices of Brown & Connery, LLC.

Before the band and fireworks show comes the parade. Collingswood's Fourth of July Bike Parade is set for Wednesday, July 4, 10 a.m. Kids, families and cyclists are encouraged to decorate their bikes, wagons, strollers and scooters patriotically.

Haddonfield's Yankee Doodle Do is set for Tuesday, July 3, 6 p.m. There will be fireworks, live music, food trucks, bounce houses and more. Fireworks are set to go off at 9:20 p.m. There is a suggested donation of $20 per family.

Haddon Township's Happy Birthday America celebration is set for the same night, Tuesday, July 3, 7 p.m. at the Haddon Township High School football stadium. Fireworks will go off at dusk.

Haddonfield's Fourth of July parade is set for Wednesday, July 4, 10 a.m. There are categories for babies, tricycles, big wheels and bicycles (ages 6 and under, ages 7 and 8 and ages 9 and older.) There's also a Dress Up Parade, Children's Groups of Floats, Neighborhood Groups and Floats and Organizational Groups and Floats. Registration is on the driveway between the Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Temple, 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

There is also a category for antique cars. The owners should register at the table in front of the Episcopal Church and then muster in the parking lot at the PATCO High Speed Line. Registration is 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

The parade will kick off at the Corner of King's Highway and Chestnut Street at 10 a.m. and continue to the Haddonfield Memorial High School. The announcements of winning groups and floats will be made at the high school at about 11:30 a.m.

Haddon Township's Independence Day parade steps off at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4. It goes from the municipal building to the Crystal Lake Pool. Registration begins at 10 am in the municipal building's parking lot. There will be free hot dogs, water and land games at the pool.
