A Gloucester Township man pleaded guilty to charges connected to the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol last January, according to a report.

GLOUCESTER TWP., NJ — A Gloucester Township man pleaded guilty to charges connected to the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol last January, according to a report.
Lawrence Stackhouse of Gloucester Township pleaded guilty to charges connected to his presence at the Capitol riot, the Courier Post reported.

Stackhouse was arrested on March 8, 2021 and charged with knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds, and disorderly or disruptive conduct, according to USA Today.
Stackhouse admitted entering the Capitol without authorization, according to the Courier Post.

Another South Jersey man, Robert Lee Petrosh of Mays Landing, also pleaded guilty to charges associated with the riot. Court documents show he entered the Capitol Rotunda, stole two microphones from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's lectern, and smoked a cigarette in the building, according to the Courier Post.
Both men agreed to pay restitution and cooperate with the investigation going forward, the Courier Post reported.
