Gloucester Students Net High Scores On English PARCC Testing

The PARCC's complete results have been released.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Students in the Gloucester Township K-8 Public School District do well on PARCC testing, but scores seem to drop once the students hit high school.

The district-by-district, school-by-school PARCC results have been released. In Grades 3-8, students performed in or around the "Level 4" and "Level 5" areas, which is between the scores of 750 and 850, the latter being a perfect score.

Freshmen in the Black Horse Pike Regional School District average a score of 744, but scores drop for the last two years of testing. It is important to note also that many students opted out of taking the exam, though New Jersey hasn't said how many.
