Today's graduate profile takes a look at Timber Creek's Nya Foster.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Patch has asked Gloucester Township residents to tell us about their graduates, and we're sharing the results right here. Each day, Patch will offer a profile of a high school senior who will be graduating in 2018.

Today's profile is of Timber Creek Regional High School's Nya Foster. She is the first black woman to earn Class President at Timber Creek for four years, according to information that was submitted.

“She is also a Principal's List Honor Student and a National Honor Society Member,” according to the email. “Nya was named 2018 Top All American Cheerleader by the National Cheerleaders Association. She was voted 2018 Homecoming Queen of TCHS. In 2018, she was recognized multiple times by Mayor Mayer for her selfless leadership & community service to Gloucester Township & TimberCreek HS. In 2017, Williamstown VFW 1616 also honored Nya for her service to Veterans. She is planning to attend Fairleigh Dickinson University to pursue a degree in International Business & then go on to law school, where she will earn her criminal law degree. In 2016 she was offered & accepted a paid summer internship at the law offices of Zucker, Steinberg & Wixted in Camden NJ, where she is still employed. She is the youngest woman to ever be offered & keep the position.”
