Gloucester Township K-8 Schools 2019-20 Calendar

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The first bell on the 2019-20 school year is still more than a month away, but it's never too early to get your school calendars in order. To help out, we've compiled a listing of important dates for the Gloucester Township K-8 Public School District in the coming year:

• First Day of School: Sept. 5
• Single Session for Students: Oct. 11
• Schools Closed for Columbus Day: Oct. 14
• No School For Students: Nov. 6
• Schools Closed for NJEA Convention: Nov. 7-8
• Single Session for Students: Nov. 20-22
• Single Session for Students: Nov. 27
• Schools Closed for Thanksgiving: Nov. 28-29
• Schools Closed for Winter Break: Dec. 23-Jan. 1
• Single Session for Students: Jan. 17
• Schools Closed for Martin Luther King Day: Jan. 20
• Single Session for Students: Feb. 13
• Schools Closed for Students: Feb. 14
• Schools Closed for President's Day: Feb. 17
• Single Session for Students: Feb. 27
• Schools Closed for Students: March 16
• Schools Closed for Spring Break: April 10-17
• Schools Closed for Memorial Day: May 22-25
• Single Session for Students: June 12-16
• Last day of School: June 16

Families are advised not to make any irrevocable vacation plans. The first four emergency closing days will be added to the end of the school calendar. The fifth emergency day would be made up on April 14.
