Gloucester Township Mayor, Cop To Speak At Social Media Conference
The "Governing in a Digital World" Friday in Camden.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township Mayor Dave Mayer and Gloucester Township Police Capt. Brendan Barton will participate in a discussion on Social Media on Friday.
Friday, June 30, is Mashable’s eighth annual Social Media Day celebration. Mashable launched a “Social Media Day” to recognize and celebrate its impact on global communication. Mashable is a digital media website founded by Pete Cashmore in 2005. The New York-based multi-platform media and entertainment company provides tech, digital culture and entertainment content for its dedicated and influential audience around the globe. It’s been using social media to connect between cultures, movements and super-fandom.
Mayer and Barton will speak during the “Governing in a Digital World” conference that takes place from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Waterfront Technology Center at 200 Federal Street in Camden.
