Gloucester Township Memorial Day Parade, Ceremony Set For Monday

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township’s annual Memorial Day Parade begins with events at seven different township monuments Monday morning. The parade begins at 11 a.m.

The Gloucester Township Police Department, local officials, members of American Legion Post 281, the American Legion Post 281 Honor Guard, Auxiliary Unit 281 and Squadron 281 will all participate in the celebration.

The parade will begin at Lincoln Drive, proceed down Chews Landing Road and end at the entrance to Veterans Park for a ceremony.

Drivers should expect police activity and heavy pedestrian traffic in the area of Chews Landing Road during the parade and ceremony. Drivers should avoid the area if possible and use caution.
