Gloucester Township Municipal Offices To Close Monday: Mayor
Offices will be closed one week to stem the outbreak of new coronavirus, Gloucester Township Mayor David Mayer said.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township Municipal offices will be closed for one week in an effort to protect employees and the public and to prevent the spread of Coronavirus in the community, Mayor David Mayer announced on Sunday.
The closure begins on Monday. The township will re-evaluate the opening of municipal offices each week, Mayer said.
“During these unprecedented times we have to do what it takes to protect our employees and public,” Mayer said. “At this time our priority is maintaining of emergency personnel such as Police Department and Public Works for public safety and security. This involves closing our civilian operations due to the fact that Police and other offices share the same building. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding during this national emergency situation.”
