Gloucester Township Police Offer Tips For National Crime Prevention Month

October is National Crime Prevention Month.

Gloucester Township, NJ -- Gloucester Township Police are encouraging residents to help reduce violence, drugs and property crimes with efforts at three levels - family, neighborhood and community during National Crime Prevention Month in October.

Police offered the following suggestions:
  • Set up a neighborhood watch program;
  • Make sure streets and individual homes are well lit; and
  • Lock your car.
