Gloucester Township Resident Displaced Following Early Morning House Fire

The fire was on Hollywood Drive.

Gloucester Township, NJ -- A Gloucester Township resident has been displaced following a fire at their single-family home on Hollywood Drive early Tuesday morning, police said.

Gloucester Township police and fire personnel reported to the scene around 4:24 a.m., and reported the home was fully involved. Additional fire departments responded to the scene to help combat the blaze and for relief from the cold overnight temperatures.

The blaze was extinguished within 45 minutes, and no injuries were reported.

The Red Cross is assisting the resident, who was the only person home at the time of the fire, in finding shelter.

The cause of the fire is unknown and is under investigation by the Camden County Fire Marshals Office and the Gloucester Township Police Department.
