Gloucester Township Schools Seek Subs Who Can Start Dec. 1
The Gloucester Township Public School District is holding a job fair for substitute teachers who may begin as soon as Dec. 1.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Gloucester Township K-8 Public School District is looking for substitute teachers who can work full- and part-time and who can start within a month.
The district will hold a Substitute Teachers Job Fair from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 16 at Charles W. Lewis Middle School, 875 Erial Road in the Blackwood section of the township.
Teachers may start as early as Dec. 1, according to the listing on the district’s website. School districts have had a hard time finding substitutes amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Attendees must preregister and bring copies of their resume and certificates. Walk-ins will not be permitted due to restrictions surrounding the coronavirus.
A substitute teacher must hold a standard teaching certificate or certificate of eligibility issued by the New Jersey State Board of Examiners or be eligible to receive a Substitute Teacher Credential.

To receive the credential, a person must have completed 60 college credits and be approved by the Gloucester Township Board of Education.
