“We are extremely saddened by the news of ten additional deaths caused by COVID-19 in Camden County. Even as our total case growth continues to plateau, this underscores the deadly threat that this virus continues to pose. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the families who have lost a loved one as well as with everyone who has been diagnosed and is now working toward recovery,” Camden County Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli Jr. said. “Over the past week, we have seen several more aspects of our statewide economy resume business, including many here in Camden County. I want to remind everyone to get tested, wear a mask, and continue social distancing even when visiting businesses or places that have been allowed to reopen. The risk of contracting coronavirus is still extremely real, and if allowed, it will spread once again to its previous levels. We can save lives by taking these simple practical steps.”
