Gloucester Twp. Police Taking Reports Online Due To Coronavirus

Police have begun taking reports online and the township has made numerous other changes to help prevent the spread of new coronavirus.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Gloucester Township Police Department has begun taking reports online in an effort to help prevent the spread of new coronavirus. To file an online report, visit https://gtpolice.com/online-reporting/.

The Gloucester Township Council meeting previously scheduled for Monday night has been rescheduled for March 23 will now take place at 7:30 p.m. on March 30 in the council chambers at the municipal complex, 1261 Chews Landing Road.

On Monday, Mayor David Mayer announced that the municipal building would be closed for one week, and that the decision to re-open will be re-evaluated on a week-to-week basis.

  • Camden County Technical School will be closed for the period of two weeks
  • Camden County College extended spring break to March 29th. Virtual instruction begins March 30th
  • Senior Services will be closed for the period of 2 weeks, including Senior Bus Transportation

  • Point Arial Park will be closed. All programs are cancelled for the period of 2 weeks
  • Pre-School will be closed for the period of 2 weeks

  • Little League opening is postponed to April 6th, 2020

The New Jersey Department of Health has partnered with the New Jersey Poison Information and Education System to open and operate a call center (1-800-222-1222) for public use regarding questions, concerns, and other information related to coronavirus spread in New Jersey.
