Harmony Show Choir Joins Forces with Broadway Show Choir and RockNRoll Chorus in Vocal Ovations State-Wide Tour
Mainstage' s Harmony Show Choir, Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir, and the RockNRoll Chorus tour the state on May 20 Weekend.

Gloucester Township, NJ -- Mainstage Center for the Arts’ Harmony Show Choir, Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir, and the RockNRoll Chorus present a three stop tour, Vocal Ovation, A Show Choir Extravaganza, the weekend of May 20.
“I’m proud that Harmony Show Choir is partnering with these talented groups for the second annual Vocal Ovation tour. Last year’s performances were very successful with the ensembles playing to packed houses,” said Ed Fiscella, Mainstage Center for the Arts (MCA) Producing Artistic Director.
Vocal Ovation, A Show Choir Extravaganza begins their tour on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Brookdale Community College Performing Arts Center in Lincroft, New Jersey. Tickets for the 8:00 p.m. performance can be purchased by visiting www.freshtix.com/events/vocal-ovation.

Following the Brookdale College performance the three groups will perform at the Grunin Center at Ocean County College in Toms River, New Jersey on Saturday, May 21, 2016. Tickets for the 8:00 p.m. performance are available at 732-255-0500 or visiting www.ocean.universitytickets.com.
The tour will conclude with two performances on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Hamilton Stage in Rahway, New Jersey. Tickets for the 3:00pm matinee and the 7:30pm evening performance can be purchased by calling 732- 499- 8226 or visiting www.ucpac.org. With hit TV shows such as GLEE and THE SING-OFF, along with the excitement created by the two PITCH PERFECT motion pictures, Show Choir performances have taken hold as an American music genre. Vocal Ovation, combines all of the current types of performance in one show. Featuring the best show choirs currently in the State of New Jersey, Vocal Ovation fills the air with pop, Motown, and swing by Harmony Show Choir; captures the magic of Broadway and pop with the Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir; and features the a cappella voices of RockNRoll Chorus, rounding out the show. Vocal Ovation promises to be an exciting evening of music and fun for all ages.
"There was fantastic energy when Papermill Playhouse Broadway Showchoir, RockNROll Chorus and Harmony Show Choir got together last year. Both audiences and performers had a wonderful time. I’m thrilled that we have this opportunity once again to showcase the students’ talents throughout the state,” said Fiscella.
The Harmony Show Choir is an auditioned only group of 52 high school age performers from the Southern New Jersey area. They are professionally staged and choreographed in a high energy, family oriented musical revue. Harmony brings entertainment and great music to the tri-state area at festivals, community events, private events, parades, and more.
