Highland Girls Soccer Team Sees Goals From Four Different Players In Playoff Win
Timber Creek and Triton each fell in the first round.
Gloucester Township, NJ -- The second-seeded Highland Regional High School girls soccer team saw goals from four different players in its 4-0 win over No. 15 Cumberland Regional in the first round of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 playoffs on Tuesday, according to nj.com.
Shannon Ahern, Camina Balmores, Gabby Dean and Angelique Mueller each had a goal in the win. Lauren Hoelke and Renna Manno each had an assist, and goalie Kaitlyn Bannan made three saves.
Highland will host No. 7 Absegami in the quarterfinals on Friday.

Highland was the only Black Horse Pike Regional team to make it out of the first round.
No. 9 Seneca upset No. 8 Timber Creek, 3-0, despite 10 saves by Chargers goalie Skye Hunter. Seneca will visit top-seeded Delsea in the quarterfinals.

No. 3 Mainland managed just one goal, in the first half, to defeat No. 14 Triton, 1-0. Mainland will host No. 6 Lacey in the quarterfinals.
