Highland, Timber Creek Boys Tennis Teams Make Playoffs

Two Black Horse Pike Regional School District boys tennis teams qualified for the playoffs, and one earned a home playoff match.

The Highland Regional High School boys tennis team is seeded No. 8 in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group II playoffs, according to nj.com.

Highland will host No. 9 Cedar Creek in the first round, to be played by May 7. The winner visits No. 1 Middle Township in the second round on May 11.

Highland is seeded eighth despite a record of 4-7. The Tartans have six regular season matches left.

Cedar Creek is 4-3 with six regular season matches left.

There are 14 teams in the tournament.

Timber Creek is the No. 11 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group III playoffs, according to nj.com.

Timber Creek visits No. 6 Cumberland Regional in the first round, to be played by May 8.

Cumberland is 8-1 with two regular season matches left.

Ocean City earned a playoff berth with a .500 record. The Red Raiders are 5-5 with two regular season matches left.
