Highland, Timber Creek Set For Girls Basketball Playoffs
Highland is the No. 5 seed in South Jersey Group 3, and Timber Creek is the No. 15 seed.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A pair of Black Horse Pike Regional High School girls basketball teams will pursue the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 title this season, and they’ll do so from opposite sides of the bracket.
Highland and Timber Creek both qualified for the sectional tournament, according to nj.com.
Highland is the No. 5 seed and will host No. 12 Delsea in the first round on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 4 p.m. The winner will play the winner of the game between No. 4 Winslow and No. 13 Central Regional in the quarterfinals on Feb. 28.

Timber Creek is the No. 15 seed and will visit No. 2 Ocean City in the first round on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 5:30 p.m. The winner will play the winner of the game between No. 7 Lacey and No. 10 Cherry Hill West in the quarterfinals on Feb. 28.
The semifinals are scheduled for March 2, and the championship game is set for March 4.

This will be the third meeting between Highland (13-5) and Delsea (7-15) this season, according to nj.com. On Jan. 3, Highland won, 36-28, at Delsea. In the rematch on Jan. 29, Delsea won,46-43, at Highland.
Timber Creek is 7-13 this season. Ocean City is 16-5.
