Hit-And-Run Driver Damaged Pole, Wall In Gloucester Twp.: Police
Authorities are asking the public if they can identify the suspect or their vehicle.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A hit-and-run incident in which a driver damaged a pole and a retaining wall in Gloucester Township is under investigation, police said.
The crash happened early Friday when the driver was traveling west on Evesham Road and tried to turn left onto Woodland Avenue. They heavily damaged a utility pole and the wall behind it in the process, police said.
The suspect vehicle — a white Nissan Pathfinder — sustained heavy front-end damage.

A witness spoke to the female driver and male passenger, who both claimed they would report the crash to police. But instead, the duo retrieved most of their damaged car parts off the sidewalk and fled the area, authorities said.
The witness took photos that show the damage, the accused driver and the vehicle, which Gloucester Township police shared. (See the photos above.)
