Hit-And-Run Kills Man In South Jersey
An early-morning crash that killed a pedestrian is under investigation.
PITTSGROVE, NJ — An unknown driver fatally struck a man and fled the scene last weekend in Salem County.
Troopers responded to the incident at 2:56 a.m. Saturday on Route 40 eastbound in Pittsgrove. Allen Miller Jr., 45, of Vineland, was killed in the crash, police said.
The vehicle struck Miller while traveling eastbound on Route 40, according to the preliminary investigation from State Police.
