1 Killed In House Fire On Jarvis Road In Gloucester Twp.: Police
One person was killed, another was injured and two families were displaced as the result of a house fire in Gloucester Township on Thursday.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — One person was killed, another was injured and two families were displaced as the result of a house fire in Gloucester Township on Thursday, police said Thursday night. Police have not yet identified the victims.
The fire broke out at a home on the 600 block of Jarvis Road at about 2:17 p.m., according to the Gloucester Township Police Department. Arriving police officers saw heavy smoke and fire coming from the home, and one residents was found outside, suffering from burns.
Fire and EMS units from Gloucester Township, Pine Hill, Winslow and Lindenwold, as well as the Camden County OEM and Cherry Hill Rehab responded to help extinguish the fire.

One person was killed, police said. A 27-year-old man was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Two families were displaced from the duplex-style home. They were receiving help from the American Red Cross and the Gloucester Township Office of Emergency Management.
