House speaker not protecting our country..just his job.

I  think the speaker of the house needs to either resign or be impeached. He is more concerned with protecting his job then protecting the American people. His has total disregard for our country and is threatening NOT to raise the debt ceiling  Oct 17th unless President Obama makes some cuts. So that means hospitals, nursing homes, etc will get cut off from Medicare and Medicaid and they wont get paid.  Its very sad. The thought that for the first time in our history of the country, we will not pay our bills, we will default and everyone else will laugh at us. We can not let this happen.
