Icy Conditions Lead To 2 Accidents, Road Closure: Police
The weather was beginning to impact traffic Saturday night.
CLEMENTON, NJ - New Freedom Road is closed between Berlin-Clementon Road and Route 30 due to icy conditions, two accidents and a downed pole, Clementon police announced Saturday night.
The weather had begun to impact traffic as a Winter Weather Advisory was in effect for the region until 1 a.m. Monday. Snow accumulation of 2 to 3 inches was expected fall during this time. Drivers should plan for slippery roads and take extra precautions.
