Indoor Go-Kart Track, Entertainment Center To Replace Berlin Kmart
Kmart's "blue light specials" are long gone at the Berlin Shopping Center, but you'll soon see a green light to race go-karts inside.

BERLIN, NJ — A former South Jersey Kmart will turn into a high-tech indoor go-kart track with arcades, rock climbing, and a "ninja course," a local company announced.
Monaco Indoor Karting is "slated to open soon" at the Berlin Shopping Center on White Horse Pike, where the Kmart went dark in 2014.
Local vendor DFX Sound and Vision is working on entertainment lighting, sound, video, and security cameras according to a Facebook post. The new entertainment center "is bound to breathe life back into this shopping center and the local community," the company said.

DFX, which is based in West Berlin, did not share an opening date for Monaco Indoor Karting.
Berlin borough's planning board approved the plans last year, allowing Monaco E Karting to lease 62,000 square feet of the building, according to local business reporter Neill Borowski of 70and73.com.

Borowski also reported that Giovanni Visceglia and Giovanni Taccardi own Monaco E Karting.
