Investigation Continues in Mysterious Death of Gloucester Township Woman

Gloucester Township, NJ -- It has been three years since 59-year-old Carol Reiff’s body was discovered in a wooded area behind her apartment complex, and police are seeking new leads as the investigation continues.

A $20,000 reward remains available, Gloucester Township Police said on Friday. Tipsters are eligible to receive $10,000 if an arrest is made relating to the investigation, and an additional $10,000 if there is a conviction.

Gloucester Township Police also worked with her family to create a video in an attempt to garner new leads. That video can be seen below.

Reiff’s body was discovered behind the Lakeview Apartments on Lower Landing Road, where she lived, on June 24, 2013.

She last spoke to her family four days prior, just before she planned to visit family members in Manahawkin.

The cause and manner of her death remain listed as pending. Her death has not been ruled a homicide, but the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Gloucester Township Police Department are treating the matter as a criminal investigation.

Detectives from both agencies are actively investigating her death. The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit is overseeing the investigation.
