Jewelry, Money Stolen From Gloucester County Home, Cops Say
Two people may have committed the crime, police said.
GREENWICH, GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — A Greenwich, Gloucester County home was burglarized, perhaps by two men working in tandem, police said.
On Tuesday between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., a white man wearing a face covering approached a resident near Broad Street and Harmony Road, according to police.
The man told the resident he worked for the State of New Jersey, showed a badge, said that a gas main in the area had been hit and that he needed to check the resident's water pressure, police said.

The man and resident were checking the resident's water pressure when "another person entered the residence and removed jewelry and money," according to police.
The investigation into the burglary was ongoing as of Friday morning, police said.
