Kate Spade New York opened in 1993 with a collection of six handbags. It has expanded its array of colorful handbags and on-trend accessories, and has become a global brand that it says has always stood for “optimistic femininity.”

It now carries handbags, ready-to-wear, jewelry, footwear, gifts, home décor and more. It says its founding principles of polished ease, thoughtful details and a modern, sophisticated use of color define a unique style that is synonymous with joy.
