“Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the 550 victims, and their families, who have been lost in Camden County due to COVID-19,” Camden County Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli Jr. said. “We are devastated by every life lost to this pandemic, but we are encouraged by the decreasing rate of fatalities in the county. This is entirely due to our residents and their collective effort to protect our vulnerable populations by slowing the spread of coronavirus. If we continue to wear masks, social distance, and work with contact tracers when they call, we will save more lives and further reduce the number of confirmed cases in our community.”
