Latest Gloucester Twp. Election Results; 70 Percent Of Vote In
Camden County has begun counting provisional ballots, and still awaits the tally for hand counted ballots not done by machine.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Now that the Camden County Board of Elections has begun counting provisional ballots from the Nov. 3 general elections, nearly 70 percent of the vote is in countywide.
Provisional ballots make up a little more than 5 percent of the total vote, according to numbers posted by the Camden County Board of Elections. That accounts for 21,880 ballots (5.49 percent).
The majority of the votes counted have come from mail-in-ballots, which account for 63 percent (251,034) of the vote total. The board has counted 203 machine ballots (0.05 percent).
According to the board of elections, no emergency ballots were issued in this year’s elections. It is still counting cured ballots, and is awaiting the total number of hand ballots not submitted via machine. Ballots will continue to be counted through Nov. 23.

The board of elections has counted 273,117 votes in an election that saw a turnout of 398,475 people, which is 68.54 percent of the total vote.

As of Monday night, incumbent Mary Ann Johnson was still in first-place in the seven-person race for three open seats on the Gloucester Township K-8 Public School District Board of Education.
She had 11,943 votes, according to unofficial results posted by the Camden County Board of Elections. Board President Mary Jo Dintino remained in second place with 11,138 votes, followed by former Board Member Ellen Reese with 10,943 votes.
Jose Fontanez was fourth with 10,382 votes, followed by former Board Member Linda Gilch with 9,492 votes. Eleanor "Patti" Senner had 8,213 votes, and Joanne Rossell had 7,789 votes.
