Bolstad has been an integral part of the community since it opened in 2020, originally serving as the Director of Resident Engagement before being promoted to Executive Director. Her leadership provided continuity as the community was welcomed into the Juniper Communities family in 2024, helping to strengthen the team and position the village for long-term success.

A strong believer in mentorship and professional development, Bolstad has played a key role in cultivating future leaders within the organization. Under her guidance, multiple team members have advanced into leadership development programs, an outcome that reflects her intentional approach to coaching and team building.

Bolstad embodies Juniper’s “Nurture the Spirit of Life” philosophy in both leadership and programming. As a board-certified music therapist, she has introduced creative and meaningful initiatives that enhance resident engagement and community connection.

Among these efforts is the Broadway Senior program, where she founded the Perennial Players, Juniper's all-resident musical theatre troupe. The troupe performs classic musicals specifically adapted for older adults, bringing together residents, team members, and the broader community through live performances. She also established a partnership with Rowan University, engaging music therapy students in the community and expanding programming opportunities.
