Law Enforcement Presence Part Of Drill In Gloucester Township Today
A mock child abduction exercise in the Lakeland Complex will draw a large police presence in Gloucester Township Wednesday, officials said.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Expect to see a large police presence in part of Gloucester Township today, as township and county officials conduct a mock child abduction exercise.
The Gloucester Township Police Department and Camden County Prosecutor's Office Child Abduction Response Team (CART) will be in the Lakeland Complex Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Law enforcement are conducting a mock activation exercise in the Marge Martin Sports Complex and neighboring buildings.

"There is no cause for concern for the public – this is only a law enforcement training exercise," police said.
