Lindenwold Man Charged With Liability in Drug Overdose Death
Kevin Croxton was charged in the overdose death of a Laurel Springs man on April 6, 2014.

A 26-year-old Lindenwold man has been charged with selling heroin to a man who died of a drug overdose, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo said Friday afternoon.
Kevin Croxton was charged with first-degree strict liability for a drug-induced death in connection with the death of a 29-year-old Laurel Springs man who was found dead at his home on April 6, 2014.
The cause of his death was determined to be from the adverse effects of drugs.

Investigators identified Croxton through cell phone records and other evidence as the person accused of selling the heroin to the victim hours before his death.
Croxton faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted of this charge.

Croxton was also charged with the following third-degree crimes: possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession of CDS with intent to distribute, and possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of school property.
He is currently in the Camden County Jail on unrelated charges.
