Lower Landing Road In Gloucester Township To Close For Road Work

Part of Lower Landing Road will be closed while PSE&G crews pull wire on Thursday and Friday.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) crews will be pulling wire on Lower Landing Road in Gloucester Township on Thursday, Dec. 26, and Friday, Dec. 27, Camden County officials announced.

As a result, Lower Landing Road will be closed between Lakeview Drive and the Route 42 off-ramp from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

This project is expected to be completed by the end of work hours on Friday, Dec. 27. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.

“Road closures can affect traffic patterns and travel times throughout the surrounding area, so it’s important for motorists to be aware of how this may affect their commute,” Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said. “Motorists should be alert for shifting traffic patterns, congestion, and sudden stops when in the construction area. Make sure to leave extra time when commuting and remain extra vigilant of additional hazards when driving near crews and equipment.”
