The school district had no comment on the situation Thursday afternoon.

According to camdencounty.com, Kube is up for re-election this year. He was one of three candidates running for three open seats.

The investigation began after detectives monitoring a peer-to-peer file-sharing program noticed videos of child pornography were allegedly being downloaded from an IP address associated with Kube’s home. Detectives were also allegedly able to download videos of child pornography from a shared folder associated with that IP address.

Kube is among two dozen people who have been charged this year by the High Tech Crimes Unit for crimes related to the possession and/or distribution of child pornography.

His bail was set at $100,000 full cash.
