Mainstage Receives Grant From The Horizon Foundation For New Jersey To Fund Arts programming and education
Mainstage Center for the Arts has received a grant from The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey to fund arts programming and education.
Blackwood, NJ – Mainstage Center for the Arts (MCA) has received a grant in the amount of $10,000 from The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey. The grant will fund its programming in arts and arts education.
“This grant from The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey will enable Mainstage to continue our important work with arts education, primarily through our studios and large Summer Stage program, where we reach more than 800 students per year with audiences of 30,000,” said Joe Bretschneider, MCA Executive Director “This will benefit the community we’ve been part of for 27 years, providing a creative, vibrant, and nurturing environment for youth and adults, improving their quality of life.”
This general operating support grant will fund MCA’s year-round programming in arts and arts education including: Summer Stage, Studio Education Program, Harmony & Encore Show Choirs, the Winter Season, and the Blackwood Pumpkin Festival. It enables Mainstage to continue its commitment to providing affordable, quality arts education and entertainment for the South Jersey Community.
