Man Confesses to Setting Over 20 Forest Fires in 2 Years: Police
Dennis Casario was charged with second-degree arson in the most recent incident.

A Winslow Township man has been charged following a series of fires that were set in the area of Beebetown Road in Winslow Township, police said on Wednesday.
Members of the New Jersey Forest Fire Service were keeping a surveillance on the area on March 29, after several forest fires had been deliberately set over the previous couple of weeks.
During the surveillance, 62-year-old Dennis Casario allegedly arrived at the scene and started a brush fire before departing. The Forest Fire Service and the Winslow Township Fire Department responded to the scene and were able to extinguish the fire.

Casario was subsequently arrested at his home. After detectives conducted lengthy interviews, Casario allegedly admitted to starting over 20 brush fires in the Cedarbrook section of the township over the last two years.
According to the Forest Fire Service and the Winslow Township Fire Department, Casasrio has no connection to any fire emergency services.

Casario was charged with second-degree arson in connection with the March 29 incident. He was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility in default of $75,000 full cash bail.
Additional charges are pending in connection with the other incidents.
