Crash Sends Car Into Side Of Gloucester Township Home
Although the house was hit, police say it is still safe to occupy.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Blackwood man faced charges in connection with a vehicle crashing into a Gloucester Township home, according to the Gloucester Township Police Department.
At about 3:15 a.m. on Saturday, Timothy Brown, 49, of Davistown Road, struck another vehicle while driving along Douglas Avenue, police said. The impact sent a vehicle into the side of the home and the other driver to the hospital, police continued.
Brown was charged with driving while intoxicated and fourth-degree assault by auto, according to police. He was processed and released pending a future court appearance, according to police.

The home that the car hit was deemed safe to occupy by the township's building inspector, police said. The second driver was taken to Jefferson Stratford Hospital to be treated for minor injuries, police also said.
