Man Found Dead As Police Invesigate How Vehicle Crashed Into South Jersey Home
The series of events began in Vineland on Saturday, according to the prosecutor.
VINELAND, NJ — A man was found shot to death near a vehicle that collided with a house in Vineland, and a second man faces charges in that first man's death, the Cumberland County Prosecutor said.
Police responded to the 1100 block of East Elmer Road shortly before 11:45 p.m. Saturday regarding reports of a vehicle striking a house in that location, the prosecutor said.
These officers found 27-year-old Vineland resident George Gonzalez dead at the scene, according to the prosecutor.

The subsequent investigation led officers to arrest 26-year-old Miguel A. Barea of Vineland on murder and weapons offenses, the prosecutor said.
Barea was sent to the Cumberland County Jail to await his first court appearance, according to the prosecutor.
