Man Wanted For NJ Attempted Murder Fled To Florida: Officials
Florida highway troopers stopped his pickup truck, which matched the description of a vehicle used in a crime in New Jersey.

HAINES CITY, FL — A man who was wanted for attempted murder in Camden County was arrested Monday in Florida, officials said.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol found Edwin G. Facenda-Suriel driving in Haines City — about 35 miles southwest of Orlando. They stopped the Camden resident's pickup truck and took him into custody.
Facenda-Suriel had been charged with attempted murder in Camden County. Information on the incident, including where or when it allegedly happened, wasn't immediately available. Patch spoke with local authorities and will update with additional details as they become available.

Shortly before 11 a.m. Monday, the Florida Highway Patrol was notified of a pickup truck in the area matching the description of a vehicle used in a crime in New Jersey.
Troopers stopped the vehicle and arrested Facenda-Suriel when they confirmed he was wanted out of New Jersey. They also seized two cell phones and $1,455 in cash in the pickup truck.

The vehicle and items will be turned over to New Jersey authorities.
Facenda-Suriel, 46, is incarcerated in Florida's Polk County Jail as of this writing.
