Manhunt After Gloucester Township Man Murdered In Camden: Police

Thomas Reyes, 18, was fatally shot in Camden Tuesday afternoon, police said.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ - A manhunt is on after a Gloucester Township man was fatally shot in Camden Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

Camden County Police found 18-year-old Thomas Reyes lying on the ground in the 1000 block of Carl Miller Boulevard after he had apparently been shot multiple times, according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson. Police were responding to a ShotSpotter activation for a man who had been shot.

Reyes was taken to Cooper University Hospital and was later pronounced dead at about 6:59 p.m.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No arrests had been made as of Wednesday morning.
