Meet The K-9s, Movie Night In Gloucester Township Postponed

The announcement was made amid a Severe Thunderstorm Watch.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect for South Jersey has resulted in the cancellation of a pair of events in Gloucester Township. The police department's "Meet The K9s Night" and the township's Movie Night at the Park have been postponed, Gloucester Township police announced Thursday evening. The events have been rescheduled for a later time.

The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch Thursday night. Sarge and Nico and their handlers Ptl. Przeworski and Ptl. Thomson were to be on hand for the event. They were to meet with residents before the screening of “Moana” during this week’s Movie Night at the Park.

"Moana," is the story of an adventurous teenager who meets the demigod when she sails out on a daring mission to save her people. Maui guides her in her quest to become a master way-finder.
